Challenge

The research department needed assistance in creating a private web-based internal reporting system that could be used by all staff. The system included on-the-fly PDF and Word document generation, an approval and commenting system, and meta data based categorization.

Solution

The web application was built using the existing template system, the existing programming structures, but with standardized code formatting and inline documentation. TCPDF was used to generate the PDF reports.

Results

The beta code is currently being tested by the Mount Royal staff and should be in production for the upcoming school year.
