Challenge
The founder of Kelco Solutions started and sold a successful transportation business in Alberta. The creation of Kelco Solutions, which will provide outsourced transportation to oilfield companies, requires a system which will track all trucks and equipment, aid with selection of the trucks to be dispatched, allow for reporting, invoicing, and even a log on for all clients so they can view activity. Kelco needed to prove the business case for this application, as well as help in presenting the concept to potential clients.
Solution
Claero consulted with Kelco in order to fully understand the business and challenges. Claero then created a design for the application, including all hardware, software, training, and presentations for marketing. Claero has also consulted and helped on the marketing activities, along with other challenges that face the company during the ramp up phase.
Results
Kelco has won the contract for a major oilfield company in Alberta, and is pursuing other companies. The company is progressing well through the start up phases, and is already looking beyond the success of their first implementation.
