The Calgary Real Estate Board is a professional body of over 4,000 licensed brokers and registered real estate agents, representing approximately 250 member firms.

For several years, the Board operated a website that, although functional in some ways, did not have clear direction or objectives. With the number of Internet users rising, and the real estate industry moving more and more toward technology for the marketing of properties and services, the Board decided in 2002 that a change was necessary and it wanted professional assistance in developing a new and exciting website.

Claero Systems was chosen for the project and through every phase was and continues to be supportive and helpful. Not only did Craig, Jonathan, and Rob provide their own expertise and input into the project, but also listened to the 'wish lists' of our various stakeholders and took the requests to heart. Their extensive research into the Board itself and the industry in general was very impressive and helped to build the site into something that works for all our audiences. They always came well equipped to answer questions and address issues as they arose. I believe that what they came up with is a dynamic site for the general public and our members, which is serving the Board very well.

They have worked with the various departments at the Board and the various technologies each department uses with great success. Our Education Department is enjoying the benefits of on-line registration, our REALTOR Store now has on-line ordering for members, and our Communications Department continues to work with Claero on a daily basis in maintaining and improving the site.
