The Chinook Centre Marketing Team wanted to install a computer kiosk allowing mall-goers to quickly and easily register for contests. We had tried a system with the help of another computer company, but the project ended in failure since the public would check their email, surf the web or reboot the server instead of registering for the contest. We called Claero looking for a stand-alone solution that didn't connect the internet.

The difference with Claero was they made sure they understood our business needs before recommending a solution. They recognized that even though we had requested a system disconnected from the internet, it would cost us more to implement and cause us much more work to collect and integrate the registrations into our existing database. After we agreed in priciple, Claero proved their recommendation by finding software to lock down the kiosk, while still letting us use our existing web based contest system and other infrastructure. They helped us install and configure the software, and continue to follow up to make sure everything is running smoothly.

The result was our kiosk worked great for the duration of our first contest registration, and we plan to use it again in the future. It's success has even prompted our head office to take a closer look for their operations. We also came in well under budget and ahead of schedule.
